Looking for a refreshing drink to serve at your next summer gathering? This 4th of July Sangria from Seasonal Sangria is perfect for serving a crowd at a dinner party or barbecue. Featuring frozen blueberries, blackberries, and cherries, as well as a splash of vodka and berry seltzer, this drink is not only delicious but adds a festive pop of color to your tablescape.
Ingredients:
- 1 Bottle (750 ml) sweet white wine
- ½ cup blueberries, frozen
- ½ cup blackberries frozen
- ½ cup cherries, pitted and halved, frozen
- ½ cup vodka
- 1 cup berry seltzer
- Sliced apple cut into stars, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except the seltzer in a large pitcher or container. Cover and refrigerate for four or more hours. Add ice and seltzer. Garnish with apple stars, stir, and serve.
Variation: Although cherries certainly give this sangria a bit of an "as American as cherry pie" kind of feel, this drink is just as delicious when made with raspberries or strawberries.
